  • One week left...

    So, only a week until Spring Break which is good, but too bad I have to spend my break working on my senior paper. My full rough draft is due the Friday we get back from break, putting a slight damper on the week away from these crazy girls. Oh well, I should be doing work right now, but I can't get myself focused on anything...that can't be good. I have the Rent DVD and soundtrack now, so that's always nice. I don't know what else to say right now because I'm thinking about all the work I have to do so that's all for now. Ciao!

  • First Week

    So, I finally finished my first week back at school, and it wasn't that bad. My schedule isn't as hectic as it was last semester, but I do have my Senior Paper to work on *sigh*

    MWF---> Intro to Psychology Pt II 10:20-11:20

    TTH---> Contemporary U.S. Society  9:25-10:40/ Religions of Asia 10:50-12:05 Renaissance Drama 3:05-6:00 (Tuesdays only..for my major )

    Yeah, doesn't look bad, but still gotta fit my paper in there somehow. Oh, plus I'm working with the Winter & Spring Theatre Productions, so that's even more time I have to fit into my schedule. At least I'm going to get some party time this semester; tonight is a Sangria Party & the opening concert, The Fuzz Band (from Norfolk, VA!)...and then there's the hall crawl sometime tonight. That should be interesting . I'll try to update more often this semester, but we'll see...I tend to update more on Myspace (partly b/c of recent drama) though. Well, until next time, HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!!!

    The only thing a girl should ever chase is a shot of liquor.

  • Ok, so I did find out that the concert is tonight (after checking the site online) & thanks to those who informed me via internet!! I decided not to go anyway....instead, I'm gonna stay in and watch movies con mi madre, so that should be nice (and less crowded!!) I rented Vanity Fair, The Aviator & Sin City (I really like that movie) since she never saw any of them, so it's a treat for her! Right now, I'm just chillin' in front of the (evil) tv and perhaps I'll get back to reading Howards End (to help with my Senior Paper on On Beauty, Zadie Smith) so I won't feel so lazy...then again, this IS my break..ooo, I also should work on those interviews, seriously!! I don't know why I keep avoiding them. Oh well, anyone have any fun plans for New Years? Ciao!!

  • Wow, it's been a LOOOOONNNGG time since my last entry! Thought another entry was way past due. So, what has happened since I last updated....I turned 22, finished my last Fall Semester at R-MWC (thank god!), I started communicating with my ex (the cheater) again, he turned around and hurt me again a few months later (the kicker happened on my birthday, of course!!), had to deal with the resulting drama on Myspace (that site's popularity is REALLY growing!!!), I survivied and I'm feeling damn good about it, realizing that I'm a stronger & better person and that I've learned my lesson  Good Times indeed! Oh, I'm interning at the Attucks Theatre in Norfolk, VA over break, and it's been amazing so far! I helped with the one-night production by Eleone Dance Theatre from Philly which was beautiful!! I even made contacts with the two directors (artistic/co-founder & executive), two wonderful people, I must add! I'm still pondering if I should go to The Wailers concert tonight with my cousin....I was kinda expecting a call from him about details, but I guess that's asking a little too much from him...oh well. Maybe I'll just stay in tonight...then again, it would be nice to go out and enjoy the music..hmmmm, we'll shall see!

    Alright, I think that's enough of an update for now...letting everyone out there know that I'm still alive over here and doing well  I hope everyone else is doing the same (if not better) Ciao!!
